Description: ECHO is an indie suspense/thriller from co-writer/director Mark Cantu. Filmed exclusively in San Antonio, ECHO is the story of Darren (Jason Lee Boyson), a mob hitman who crosses paths with a notorious serial killer known as the Angel of Mercy (Michael D. Burger). With a brutal serial killer now on his trail, as well as a police investigation, Darren must fight to protect himself and Theresa (Caitlin Williams), his girlfriend who knows nothing of his double-life. The film premiered August 2nd, at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Antonio to two sold-out screenings. On October 29th, ECHO was part of the double feature presentation, DEMENTIA: A NIGHT OF TERROR, and played once again to a sold-out crowd. The film is currently being prepped for the festival circuit, and will be submitted to several festivals including the British Film Institute in London, the New York Independent Film/Video Festival and South by Southwest in Austin, TX.
