    Good thing they weren't figuratively pushed into a commuter train "like" sardines. That would have been kinda-sorta like a simile, and therefore all metaphorical and such - which would have made you look all stupid "like".

    Good thing you are on the interwebs to save our grammatically incorrect asses from the eternal damnation of Remedial English Class Hell (eyeroll). Leftaorta means they were literally pushed. which is an accurate statement. There's nothing wrong with the description.
